Job description
- Serve as the technical lead and go-to expert for the IT Platform team, with direct hands-on involvement in implementing Infrastructure as Code, automation, and platform engineering
- Evaluate, implement, and continuously improve infrastructure, scripts, and tooling in close collaboration with development teams
- Architect and build automation solutions for monitoring, alerting, and optimization of IT processes
- Design and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency
- Build, maintain, and improve development, test, and deployment pipelines including configuration, debugging, and optimization
- Monitor availability, performance, and resource consumption of applications and CI/CD pipelines, and drive improvements directly
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex infrastructure and platform issues, acting as a technical escalation point for the team
- Define and track reliability metrics (MTTR, deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and tooling decisions
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and technically driven IT Platform engineer to serve as Team Lead to serve as a hands-on technical authority and leader within our DevOps engineering team. You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes, staying close to the code and systems while helping guide the team through technical leadership and mentorship with a path to a manager role., * 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles

Experience in a technical lead or senior individual contributor capacity - you lead through expertise and example, not just coordination

Deep, practical knowledge of Linux server administration, performance tuning, and maintenance

Proven hands-on experience operating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production

Strong practical security and infrastructure experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent, including writing and reviewing IaC regularly

Solid working knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), including pipeline design and troubleshooting

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar - you automate first Experience deploying AI tools and performing secure integrations (MCP server deployment, LLMs/Generative AI)

Solid grasp of security concepts including secrets management and secure coding practices

Full working proficiency in English
