Job description

Humber Health Partnership is implementing a major new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) that will transform digital care across our hospitals and services. To support this, we are recruiting a highly skilled Deputy Solutions Architect Integration to lead development of the Trust's new Data Warehouse and interfaces essential to a safe, modern EPR ecosystem.

This senior role is central to ensuring the Group's data architecture, warehousing capability and system interfaces are robust, future-proof and aligned to national and internal digital priorities.

You will:

  • Lead the design, development and evolution of the Group's data warehouse, reporting infrastructure and interface solutions supporting the new EPR.
  • Drive solution designs, technical specifications and integration standards to ensure safe, effective interoperability between clinical and administrative systems.
  • Oversee change control, configuration management, system upgrades and interface testing to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Represent the Group in internal and external programmes, clearly communicating digital vision and EPR integration strategy.
  • Provide expert oversight across complex digital projects, including data development, system deployment and solution design.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in systems and integration development within NHS clinical and administrative systems.
  • Deep understanding of NHS business processes, digital systems, interfaces and data flows.
  • Experience managing digital or technical teams including staffing, performance, resource planning and development.
  • Knowledge of development methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and project management approaches such as PRINCE2.
  • Knowledge of data architectures, interface technologies and integration standards relevant to modern EPR systems.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical and operational problems and develop high-quality digital solutions.

Desirable

  • Experience with ITIL, service management or advanced agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of specialist or bespoke Trust systems and integration patterns.

You will be:

  • A proactive and solutions-focused leader.
  • Calm under pressure, able to act independently and set high standards for digital practice.
  • Diplomatic, influential, and effective at negotiating with stakeholders ranging from suppliers to clinicians.
  • Motivated by improving digital capability and transforming clinical care through better data, integration and digital services.

Our organisation is committed to investing in digital, modernising clinical services and delivering safer, more connected care. Your expertise will have significant real-world impact.
