Server and Cloud Engineer

Degree or equivalent qualification from a technology discipline

• Experience with implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure
• Experience of virtualisation technologies and platforms eg, VMware, VXrail
• Experience of working within an ITIL Framework
• Skills relevant to managing cloud workloads and underlying technologies
• Ability to understand/contribute to business strategy and develop and implement architecture models
• Knowledge of Network topologies relating to WAN/LAN including TCPIP, Ethernet etc
• The ability to function within a team but also undertake tasks and responsibilities unsupervised
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory inc. Security and Distribution Groups, Sites & Services, Organisation Units and Group Policy
• Knowledge of server architectures including Microsoft Server, DNS, DHCP, RAID, NFS,
• Ability to identify and share best practice and/or resources
