Job description
Our Fortune 100 client is looking for a Full Stack Developer for a 6-month renewable contract. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with both VB.NET and SQL - you'll be developing and testing solutions supporting UI, backend, API, and database technologies. This is a fully remote position but candidates must live and work in the 48 contiguous states, during ET core business hours. Our client is an industry leader with a large, cutting edge IT shop and great work culture.
Day-to-day responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to review, refine, and work through story cards, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and actionable.

Write and maintain technical documentation to support development, implementation, and ongoing knowledge sharing.

Prepare technical design documents that outline proposed solutions, architecture, system behavior, and implementation approach.

Develop, enhance, and maintain application code based on business and technical requirements.

Perform system testing and unit testing to validate functionality, ensure code quality, and identify defects early in the development cycle.

Participate in requirements sync meetings to align on business needs, clarify open questions, and present progress, findings, and results to the Product Owner.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of features and enhancements.

Troubleshoot issues, support defect resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.

Experience in Visual Basic/VB .Net
