Job description
- Perform database administration activities including installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Oracle database environments.
- Support Oracle database upgrades, patching, and environment management activities.
- Monitor database performance, perform tuning, and implement improvements to ensure system efficiency.
- Design, maintain, and support logical and physical database models.
- Manage database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Create and maintain database environments to support application development and ETL activities.
- Analyze and resolve database issues while ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Support database performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization activities.
- Maintain database standards, data dictionary, and database documentation.
- Provide technical assistance to application teams and users related to database access and data issues.
- Support database changes, testing, and deployment activities across environments.
- Assist with database software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting., We are seeking a Senior Operational Oracle DBA to ensure the stability, patching, and scalability of critical database environments that support multiple concurrent ERP implementations and upgrades., Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Requirements
The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning.
