Job description

This role is for a Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience who will help build and enhance technology solutions that support alternative accounting products. The position is based in Westlake, Texas and involves hands-on software development, working closely with accounting teams to create new capabilities and improve existing systems. A strong background in software engineering, alternative accounting, Java development, cloud technologies, and database development is required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, AWS, SQL, Oracle databases, and deployment tools such as Jenkins. Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, REST services, Kafka, cloud-native application design, and CI/CD practices is also important. Knowledge of SS&C RSL and GSQL query languages is preferred, while experience with Angular and TypeScript is considered a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are needed, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and within an agile team environment.
