In this role, you will support and enhance modern microservices-based applications built on Java and Spring Boot. You will work across multiple teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure services. • Build and consumeRESTful APIs, adhering to best practices and standards
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy applications inKubernetesenvironments
• Leverage observability tools for application monitoring and logging
• Contribute to building and maintainingevent-driven architectures(e.g., using messaging queues)
• Document and expose APIs using tools likeSwagger/OpenAPI
• Work withAPI gatewaysto manage and secure API traffic
• Implement and supportOAuthfor secure authentication and authorization

• Proficiency inJava
• Experience withSpring Boot and building RESTful web services

Preferred Skills:

• Hands on experience with AWS cloud architecture and development using AWS resources like S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.
• Building Spring apps utilizing both SQL and NoSQL Databases (Mongo, DynamoDB, SQL Server, Postgres, etc..)

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• JavaScript
• Python

Education:

• College Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.

Salary/Rate: $55-$70/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
