Job description
We are seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to join our team supporting an ITES task order., * Manage, maintain, deploy, and support Citrix solutions within a mixed Windows Server 2019/2022 enterprise environment.
- Design, install, and maintain Citrix components including XenApp, NetScaler Gateway, Citrix Storefront, and Citrix Director.
- Execute system hardware and software implementations; maintain detailed technical instructions, SOPs, and policies.
- Monitor, tune, and harden systems to ensure optimal performance and security posture.
- Track system performance metrics, generate utilization reports, and identify areas requiring corrective action.
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize system efficiency and availability.
- Support the full lifecycle of hardware/software, including firmware updates and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain complex applications and web services including IIS and Apache.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer, with specific expertise in Citrix technologies (XenApp, NetScaler Gateway, Storefront, Director).
- Three (3) years of experience automating administrative tasks with PowerShell.
- Three (3) years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and web servers (IIS, Apache).
- Three (3) years working with complex networking solutions; strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).
- Three (3) years of experience supporting Cybersecurity practices including STIGs, SRGs, RMF, SCA-V, and CORA assessments.
- Three (3) years managing enterprise-level Active Directory structures.
- Three (3) years creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Three (3) years writing and following SOPs for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Three (3) years configuring and supporting essential services such as DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
Certifications
- CompTIA Security+.
- Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) - can be waived for 30 days after project join date.
Clearance
