Platform Engineer

• Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure environments tailored for growing Data Science teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment lifecycles by integrating Terraform within robust Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize advanced AWS platform accounts while configuring specialized data services to support AI/ML workloads.
• Administer the comprehensive container image management lifecycle to mature and secure overarching enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Develop advanced automation scripts utilizing Python and shell scripting to streamline ongoing platform administration.
• Support diverse database platforms including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Athena to guarantee seamless data lake integrations.
• Perform proactive system patching, remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities, and deliver on-call technical support to resolve operational roadblocks.

• 5 or years of experience engineering and managing AWS infrastructure specifically for Data Science and AI/ML platforms.
• Proficiency in orchestrating containerized workloads utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and Elastic Container Registry (ECR).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments leveraging Terraform to manage complex enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience in configuring and executing CI/CD automation pipelines via Azure DevOps for rapid software delivery.
• Experience with AWS native data tools including SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, and Athena to support large-scale analytics.
• Experience in securing infrastructure, resolving vulnerabilities within SLAs, and utilizing security platforms like AQUA and Kenna.
• Excellent communication skills to perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional architecture and network teams.
