Snowflake Solutions Architect

Snowflake Architecture & Platform Development Convert validated Snowflake POC into a scalable production environment. Design and implement Snowflake architecture, data models, schemas, and warehouse structures. Configure security, governance, RBAC, and compliance controls. Establish Dev, Test, and Production environments with deployment processes. Document architecture and technical configurations.

API Development & Integration Design and implement secure APIs using Snowflake SQL API and related connectors. Develop and maintain custom APIs to support business applications. Create API documentation and governance processes. Implement monitoring, throttling, and error handling mechanisms.

Data Engineering & Integration Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake native capabilities. Integrate Snowflake with enterprise applications and external data sources. Develop automated and streaming data ingestion processes. Support metadata management and data governance initiatives.

Application & Analytics Development Develop data-driven applications leveraging Snowflake as the backend platform. Build dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics capabilities. Create executive and operational KPI dashboards. Implement predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities using Snowflake features.

Performance & Cost Optimization Optimize Snowflake warehouses, queries, clustering strategies, and resource utilization. Implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting procedures. Recommend and implement cost optimization strategies. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Develop technical documentation and operational procedures. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for technical and business stakeholders.

Active Snowflake Solutions Architect Certification. 5+ years of Data Warehouse/Data Platform Architecture experience. 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake Architecture and Development experience. Expertise in Snowflake Security, RBAC, Governance, and Performance Tuning. Strong SQL and Data Modeling skills. Experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation. API development and integration experience. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills Insurance, Financial Services, Regulatory, or Government project experience. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools. Experience with Document AI and metadata management tools. Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics experience. Experience integrating enterprise systems and external APIs.
