Job description

We are a rapidly expanding team within an IT department that supports over 4,000 staff. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Developer to join us as a senior team member., * Develop, configure, and deploy custom solutions within Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related applications.

  • Design and manage integrations between Microsoft 365 applications and third party systems using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and custom connectors.
  • Create and manage custom connectors within Power Automate and Power Apps to facilitate efficient data flow across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Business Excellence Team to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations to ensure security, reliability, and performance.
  • Build automated workflows and solutions that enhance productivity and streamline business operations.
  • Document all integration processes, customizations, and best practices for reference and training.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Microsoft 365 Developer or a similar role focused on integrations.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate) and services.
  • Extensive experience with API integrations, particularly Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and third party APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in Power Platform development, including Power Apps and Power Automate custom solutions.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management) for advanced integration capabilities. Familiarity with JSON, XML, OAuth, and other web technologies relevant to API development.
  • Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with own transport.
