Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of applications, enhancing our operational efficiency, and driving automation initiatives. Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI to automate deployment processes.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement containerization solutions using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment and improve overall system performance.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, with a strong emphasis on Jenkins.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Experience with configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.

Years of Experience:

  • Must have worked as DevOps engineer for at least 5 years
  • Must have telecom experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps practices are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
