Job description
Noblis is seeking cleared AI Engineer to support our customer in Bethesda, Maryland, on a SETA contract.
This role is critical to developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced AI/ML models that support the IC community. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and emerging Agentic AI technologies, while operating with strict governance frameworks and security requirements., * Provide subject matter expertise related to data governance and AI capabilities.
- Ensure projects comply with AK standards and governance (ICD 505 - Artificial Intelligence).
- Draft, edit, and coordinate AI-related policies and procedures.
- Make Agile teams aware of AI-related standards.
- Support Enterprise Data Architecture integrated with the IC enterprise architectures.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining AI and machine learning models using given datasets and customer requirements.
- Experience with right-sizing AI solutions to meet customer requirements from traditional machine learning solutions through to Agentic Al workstreams.
- Experience leveraging Model Context Protocols to enable standardized interactions with Generative Al capabilities.
- Experience monitoring model performance in production environments to ensure reliable, efficient, scalable AI systems.
- Experience with frontier models and deep knowledge on when to fine-tune models for increased perfonnance.
- Experience developing and implementing artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) solutions using emerging technologies such as deep learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and Agentic Al.
- Experience analyzing complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, and designs and develops Al/ML models to solve business problems.
- Understands model differences and applicability across different use cases to advise appropriate solutioning for a variety of functions.
- Ability to identify potential data security and integrity issues ahead of implementation.

Entry Level:
- Bachelor's degree in B-STEM with 3 years of experience OR Master's Degree in B-STEM with 0 years of experience OR associate's degree with 6 years of experience OR High-School/High School equivalency diploma with 9 years of experience.
- Compensation: $109,800 - $171,525
Journeyman Level:
- Bachelor's degree in B-STEM with 6 years of experience OR Master's Degree in B-STEM with 4 years of experience OR associate's degree with 8 years of experience OR High-School/High School equivalency diploma with 11 years of experience.
- Compensation: 132,900 - $207,750
Senior Level:
- Bachelor's degree in B-STEM with 8 years of experience OR Master's Degree in B-STEM with 6 years of experience OR associate's degree with 12 years of experience OR High-School/High School equivalency diploma with 14 years of experience.
- Compensation: $160,800 - $251,325, Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
