Job description

In this position you will work collaboratively with our Landscape Studio Manager and Senior Designers and oversee the development of landscape deliverables on a wide variety of public projects. Projects will range from public plazas and parks, playgrounds, municipal facilities, streetscapes and transportation projects. Clients include municipalities, counties and state agencies., Development of landscape plan packages; including landscape, hardscape, and irrigation plans from concept through construction

  • Provide quality control review of landscape deliverables prior to sign/sealing the deliverables
  • Development of project construction cost estimates
  • Coordination with clients and sub-consultants and act as liaison to government agencies
  • Internal coordination with planning and engineering teams
  • Attend public meetings and community outreach meetings
  • Work with Studio Manager to maintain project schedules and budgets

Requirements

We are seeking a Landscape Architect / Project Manager with at least 7-10 years of experience in the development of public projects to join our Landscape Architecture team in the Fort Lauderdale, FL office., WGI is always looking for remarkable individuals to join our team and help us grow in our vision.   • 7-10 years related experience with current licensure or in the process of becoming licensed in the State of Florida
  • Proficiency in Microstation a plus
  • Must understand the relationship between design and constructability
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
  • LIAF or ISA certifications a plus
  • Ability to work as a team, or independently
  • Night and weekend work may be required
  • Travel to other office locations may be required
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
