Full-Stack Java Engineer

• Be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions to meet customer requirements, including requirements analysis, documentation, error/exception handling, business process implementation, performance analysis/improvements, and technology research.
• Be responsible for maintaining technical skills through hands-on experience, independent research, training, and conferences.
• Be responsible for collaborating with leadership and product owners to understand requirements.
• Be responsible for enhancing system design using architecture knowledge and test-driven development.
• Be responsible for researching new technologies to improve design, security, and performance.
• Be responsible for integrating web services using SOAP/REST protocols.
• Be responsible for optimizing SQL operations including queries, caching, and clustering.
• Be responsible for implementing DevOps practices with branching/merging and system integrations.
• Be responsible for managing Apache Tomcat for hosting Java web applications.
• Be responsible for applying SSL and encryption methodologies.
• Be responsible for developing full-stack applications.
• Be responsible for communicating with customers for requirements gathering, design, and documentation.
• Be responsible for participating in Agile ceremonies and development methodology.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical programming experience.
• Mid-level experience in web-based IT solutions with proficiency in JSP/Java/web programming, relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL), and application servers (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere).
• Proficiency in GitHub, unit testing, and object-oriented programming, with experience in methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or RUP.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with ability to collaborate in teams, manage time effectively, and work independently.
• Technical writing, customer service communication, and understanding of APIs and modern architecture.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications such as Java Developer, Oracle, or DB2.
• Experience with Oracle tools including AEM integrations and Visual Builder, as well as mobile responsive design.
• Knowledge of OWASP and web application vulnerabilities, CI/CD pipeline management, and source control tools (SVN, Git).
• Hands-on experience with build/deployment tools like Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, and strong troubleshooting skills with real-world deployment experience.

Pay Range*: Between $50 - $57 per hours
