Job description
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a senior-level DevOps/Platform Engineer to support a large-scale system modernization effort, replacing legacy platforms with new cloud-native solutions. This role focuses heavily on CI/CD pipeline development, Kubernetes environments, and secure delivery practices., * Design and build CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments and containerized applications
- Partner with development teams to enable efficient, secure code delivery
- Ensure container images are built, deployed, and run reliably in cluster environments
- Implement basic security best practices, including vulnerability checks and secure coding support
- Drive automation, scalability, and reliability across platforms
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Deep Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred)
- Experience working in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Ability to work closely with developers and support delivery pipelines
- Understanding of secure development practices and vulnerability management
- Experience with .NET environments
- Exposure to DevSecOps tools or security scanning practices
- Relevant certifications (nice to have)

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
