Job description

Job Summary We are seeking an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise file-based integration solutions in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS Transfer Family, AWS services, file transfer technologies, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and enterprise integration platforms. This role will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available integration solutions while supporting cloud migration initiatives, operational excellence, and production support activities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain file-based integration solutions using AWS Transfer Family supporting SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols. Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions using Python for workflow automation, file processing, and integration services. Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, IAM, Security Groups, Load Balancers, Route 53, SNS, and related cloud infrastructure components. Build and enhance self-service integration capabilities using AWS-native services. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Establish and maintain integration architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices. Lead technical discussions to ensure consistent implementation of integration patterns across teams. Design highly available, load-balanced integration solutions with automated failover capabilities. Ensure integration solutions comply with security, compliance, and risk management requirements. Provide end-to-end support for integration services, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Grafana, and related monitoring platforms. Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24x7 production support as required. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain technical

Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices using version control systems. Identify and address technical debt while balancing delivery priorities. Escalate risks and technical concerns through appropriate governance channels. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 2+ years of software development or systems integration experience. 2+ years of experience with enterprise file transfer technologies and platforms. 2+ years of experience designing and implementing file-based integration services using AWS Transfer Family (SFTP, FTPS), AWS Lambda, Python, and SNS. 1+ year of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD. Working knowledge of security protocols including TLS/SSL, SSH, and OAuth. Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar platforms. Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or similar solutions. Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-based integration architectures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Availability to participate in on-call support rotations. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise file transfer platforms such as IBM Sterling File Gateway, Axway, or similar technologies. 2+ years of experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) in hybrid environments including on-premises and AWS-hosted deployments. Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect:Direct, or Sterling Control Center. Knowledge of banking, financial services, and regulatory compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS, SOX, and data privacy standards. Experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring solutions. Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical environments. Experience designing cloud migration and modernization solutions. Strong understanding of high-availability architectures, load balancing, and disaster recovery principles. Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Preferred). AWS Certified Developer (Preferred). AWS Certified Security Specialty (Preferred).
