Job description

The Technical Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and guiding the organization's technology architecture strategy across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, integration services, data ecosystems, and infrastructure. This role serves as a senior technical leader within the Enterprise Architecture function, providing architectural direction across Oracle Utilities Cloud Services (OUCS), Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The architect will partner with business and technology leaders to establish enterprise standards, develop technology roadmaps, govern solution designs, and drive modernization initiatives. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on technical leadership to support scalability, security, operational excellence, and future growth., * Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.

  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across Oracle Utilities Cloud Services (OUCS), Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), cloud infrastructure, integration, and data platforms.
  • Lead architectural planning and governance for enterprise technology initiatives and digital transformation programs.
  • Architect solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) native services, Oracle Fusion extensibility capabilities, and Oracle Utilities platforms.
  • Define integration strategies utilizing APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native integration services.
  • Guide the design and governance of AWS and OCI environments, including compute, networking, storage, automation, identity, and security services.
  • Establish architecture review processes, design standards, governance frameworks, and ADR’s.
  • Assess architectural risks, technical debt, platform standardization opportunities, and modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with IT leadership, business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and track metrics related to resiliency, standardization, cost optimization, risk reduction, and technology effectiveness.
  • Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or senior technology leadership roles.
  • Deep experience with Oracle Utilities Cloud Services (OUCS), Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, or similar large-scale enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Strong experience designing and governing enterprise cloud architectures within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with cloud networking, security architecture, identity management, automation, and infrastructure services.
  • Proven experience establishing architecture governance, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, application modernization, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus across complex organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
