Job description
Develop, maintain, and evolve a high-throughput, low-latency US sports trading platform. Build scalable microservices on GCP with Kubernetes using Go or Rust. Ensure resilience during peak events, contribute to architecture, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and adopt CI/CD, IaaS, concurrency debugging, and in-house AI technologies to deliver reliable global services., As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and evolving our US Sports platform.
We are building a team and trading platform to help us become a leader in the US sports gambling industry, replicating our strong foundation in Europe.
As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and success. Our N-Tier distributed systems process large volumes of data, especially during high-profile sporting events, where resilience and stability are crucial to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will play an important role in shaping the success of our team. Beyond technical excellence, you will use your expertise to coach and onboard junior engineers, ensuring their smooth integration into our team through mentorship. Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders will help the team implement the architectural vision.
The listed salary for this position is $125,000 - $155,000 annually., * Building systems that guarantee quality and reliability.

- Working on and solving complex problems., Lead CRM strategy for the online casino product: create roadmaps, manage and execute campaigns, analyze performance, optimize retention and lifetime value, run tests (A/B, MVT), oversee budgets, and present insights to stakeholders while collaborating cross-functionally.
Requirements
- Previously worked on high throughput and low latency systems.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring in technical subject areas.
- Ability to prioritize people and conversations over process.
- Previously thrived in a fast-paced agile environment.
- An aptitude and enjoyment in learning new technologies.
- Commercial experience using GCP with Kubernetes.
- Experience in Microservices development, with Golang or Rust
- Knowledge of React and Typescript.
- Experience in a delivery focused culture.
