Data Engineer Architect

Day-to-Day:

• Lead and define data architecture strategy across the organization
• Drive data governance initiatives and enforce best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business units, vendors, IT)
• Guide teams through organizational change and standardization efforts
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Partner with stakeholders to align data strategy with business objectives
• Evaluate and improve existing data systems and processes
• Act as a key decision-maker for architecture and data-related initiatives

• Strong experience in data architecture & data engineering leadership
• Proven background in data governance frameworks and implementation
• Experience leading enterprise-wide architecture strategy & transformation efforts
• Ability to drive standardization across multiple teams, vendors, and business units
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and business audiences
• Demonstrated change management leadership (guiding teams through transformation)
• Hands-on or prior experience with Python

Plusses:

• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments (healthcare a plus)
• Background managing multi-vendor ecosystems
• Exposure to modern data platforms (cloud, data lakes, warehousing)
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience in backfill or stabilization roles within transformation programs
