- Design and implement a reusable BTP test automation framework and approach.
- Develop and execute BTP test plans, test cases, and automation (with manual testing as needed).
- Analyze BTP testing requirements and procedures; optimize cases and scripts based on rapid product releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects; leverage logging/monitoring to provide actionable insights upstream.
- Report on testing status and results; continuously refine test strategy.
- Act as SME for BTP services usage and troubleshooting.
- Coach and mentor team members on BTP test automation technologies and best practices.
Requirements
This role leads test automation strategy and execution for solutions built on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will design a reusable automation framework, implement automated and manual testing, and serve as a subject matter expert while collaborating closely with development and product teams. The ideal candidate combines deep test automation experience with strong communication and coaching abilities., * 5 years in test automation.
- 5 years with Java or related programming languages.
- 5 years with test management systems.
- 3 years in cloud platform testing.
- Hands-on experience testing and automating on SAP BTP.
- Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills; solid understanding of QA principles., * 3 years building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- 3 years developing/operating multiple BTP services and extensions.
- 3 years using Playwright with Java.
- Experience with LLMs/agents integrated into development workflows.
- Experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; automated reporting.
- ServiceNow experience (queries, automation flows, dashboards).
- Background working in agile DevOps environments.
