Java Tech Lead - PL/SQL & Oracle

• Lead end to end application development using Java with a strong focus on Oracle and PL/SQL components

• Drive technical discussions, architectural decisions, and solution design across application and database layers

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and functions

• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through SQL tuning and database optimization

• Partner with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and quality delivery

• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and review processes

• Mentor junior developers and guide teams on technical and design best practices

UST is searching for an experienced Java Tech Lead with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on technical skills with strong leadership, architectural insight, and ownership of end-to-end solutions., * Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring / Spring Boot preferred)

• Deep expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development

• Proven experience in SQL performance tuning, execution plans, and indexing strategies

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and enterprise systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
