Versatile Systems and Network Administrator

We are looking for a versatile systems and network administrator capable of supporting clients over the long term, identifying their needs, managing their IT developments, and coordinating their implementation, while maintaining strong technical involvement., Your role will not be limited to the technical administration of infrastructures. You will be one of the key contacts for our clients and actively participate in the evolution of their information systems.

You will need to understand your clients' needs and challenges, identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and necessary infrastructure developments, propose suitable solutions, and ensure their implementation is followed through to completion.

We seek someone capable of maintaining a global vision of infrastructures, organising the work of technical teams, and ensuring smooth execution of interventions.

You must be able to personally handle the technical aspects of projects while delegating certain tasks when appropriate, coordinating available resources, and monitoring their execution.

You will support clients in their technological choices, identify necessary developments to maintain operational and security conditions of their infrastructures, and transform these needs into concrete projects that add real value.

In our human-sized structure, we seek a versatile, autonomous, and proactive person, able to alternate between client relations, project management, team coordination, and technical interventions.

Your responsibilities Client relations and support

Ensure regular follow-up of a client portfolio.Understand business challenges and client needs.Advise clients on relevant developments and investments.Identify necessary improvements for maintenance and evolution of infrastructures.Present and defend proposed solutions.Participate in the preparation of technical and commercial offers.Ensure proactive monitoring of infrastructures to anticipate future needs.

Project management

Manage IT and telecom infrastructure projects.Organise the different project phases.Plan interventions and coordinate resources.Monitor deadlines, budgets, and commitments.Ensure quality of delivered services.Ensure communication between clients and technical teams.Document projects and infrastructures.

Coordination and teamwork

Participate in organising team activities.Delegate certain tasks when necessary.Monitor actions assigned to colleagues.Promote knowledge sharing and mutual support.Participate in continuous improvement of working methods.

Systems and network administration

Ensure administration and operation of systems and network infrastructures.Participate in deployments, migrations, and production rollouts.Perform complex technical interventions when necessary.Participate in level 1, 2, and 3 support.Contribute to infrastructure evolution and security.Participate in scheduled maintenance and on-call duties.

Desired qualifications

Training in IT, systems, or networks.Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (an asset).Excellent interpersonal skills.Organisational skills and ability to prioritise.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical interlocutors.Initiative and sense of responsibility.Neat presentation and client orientation.

Appreciated technical knowledge

It is not necessary to master all the technologies below. We primarily seek someone capable of learning, adapting, and understanding our clients' environments.
