Job description
As Application Specialist (f/m/x) Clinical Flow Cytometry, you support affiliates, distributors and customers with your expert knowledge in clinical flow cytometry, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of application workflows in diagnostic laboratories. You act as a partner, support and consultant for all application related questions to customers and internal stakeholders and hence drive high-quality clinical outcomes., * Supporting affiliates, distributors and customers in all application-related topics, including installation, validation, troubleshooting and end-customer support
- Providing on-site and remote 2nd level application support, including assistance with laboratory-developed test (LDT) procedures
- Conducting product demonstrations and supporting pre-sales activities together with local sales teams
- Designing and supporting flow cytometry panels, contributing to guideline-based clinical applications (especially for leukemia diagnostics)
- Delivering application trainings and developing training concepts, workshop content and digital learning materials for different target groups
- Creating application documentation such as application notes and supporting product testing, evaluations and validation activities
- Collaborating closely with EMEA marketing, regional teams and local country organizations
- Staying up to date on scientific and technological developments in clinical flow cytometry
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, You are a strong match if you combine hands-on experience in clinical flow cytometry with a deep understanding of laboratory workflows, guideline-based diagnostics and strong communication skills., * Degree or vocational training in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science or Medical Technology
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in clinical flow cytometry, ideally in a diagnostic laboratory or application role (experience limited to research settings alone is not sufficient)
- Strong expertise in clinical flow cytometry including leukemia diagnostics (panel design, procedures, data interpretation) as well as solid knowledge of laboratory workflows and relevant guidelines
- Ability to translate complex clinical and diagnostic topics into clear training content and customer-oriented solutions; experience in training or application support is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills as well as a collaborative and structured working style
- Willingness to relocate to Hamburg and to travel within the EMEA region (approx. 30-50%)
- Fluent in English
