Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven candidate to oversee all day-to-day IT activities, provide company-wide support to our employee base, and to assist the Head of IT Services with the growth and development of all IT systems.
You will work as part of our IT Services team to provide support for our entire IT infrastructure, and our globally dispersed user base. You will be key to assuring the department operates at top efficiency by helping to adopt industry best practices, maintain compliance, and maintain our written policies and procedures.
The role requires an all-round general-purpose candidate who has wide interests in IT, system administration, and support. The right candidate should be interested in the full IT lifecycle and keen to demonstrate their skills from initial planning, research, and development, through to implementation and ongoing support.
Technology exposure will include both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure consisting of a deep Microsoft stack including Microsoft Azure and 365. Experience of the latest Microsoft client and server products is essential as you will be supporting both client and server environments.
Role and Responsibilities
· Provide hardware and software support to our growing user base
· Hardware maintenance and support of core IT on premise and cloud infrastructure
· Plan, coordinate and manage our hardware and software upgrade lifecycle
· Oversee IT support service levels ensuring SLAs are maintained
· Liaise with users, senior staff and management to ensure smooth IT operations
· Carry out educational sessions to educate our user base on new software, tools and technology.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, · Experience of providing first to third level support
