Our Client, a leading organisation operating within the applied AI sector, is seeking an experienced Applied AI Software Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to high-impact projects that inform government, defence, and public sector initiatives across the UK., * Proven software engineering experience, with expertise in Python

• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI/LLMs, including frameworks like HuggingFace or similar
• Strong understanding of AI/ML techniques, especially in natural language processing
• Familiarity with RAG, LangChain, and AI Agents is highly desirable
• Experience working within cloud-native environments, particularly Kubernetes
• Must hold an active UK Security Clearance (SC is minimum; DV preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and technical teams
• Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage tasks from conception through to deployment
