Job description

We are looking for someone who enjoys technology and working with people to join our team as an IT Administrator or Technician. This is a hands on position in a fast moving environment where no two days look the same. You might troubleshoot a network one day and help plan a server migration the next.

We are open to a wide range of experience. If you are a seasoned technician who can step in and lead projects right away, we want to hear from you. If you are earlier in your career, finishing a technology program, or changing careers and ready to learn, we want to hear from you too. This is an onsite role based between our Liverpool and Camillus offices, with time at client sites, meetings, and occasional events. Reliable transportation is required.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day to day technical support for our clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Help administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID
  • Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid setups
  • Assist with and, depending on experience, lead projects such as server installations, cloud and Microsoft 365 migrations, network upgrades, virtualization, firewall and security work, and backup and disaster recovery
  • Help maintain security controls and compliance standards across client environments
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and keep their technology running smoothly
  • Document configurations, processes, and fixes so the whole team benefits, For the right person who is newer to the field, we provide mentorship and structured training, including exposure to:
  • Microsoft 365 and related platforms
  • Networking and infrastructure vendors
  • Audio and video systems and business AV solutions
  • Our internal systems and operational best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer service problem-solving?, * A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to keep learning

  • Strong problem solving skills and a focus on taking care of clients
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical people
  • Reliable transportation and comfort working across multiple locations
  • The ability to lift and move equipment when a project calls for it

What Sets You Apart (nice to have, not required)

  • Experience in an MSP or across multiple client environments
  • Microsoft 365 administration and migration experience
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy experience
  • Networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, and network security
  • Experience with Azure and Entra ID, hybrid cloud, and Intune for endpoint management
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOC 2
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
