Systems Engineer

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer (VMware / Microsoft Infrastructure) with a leading financial services organization. This role will support a hybrid enterprise environment focused on maintaining and optimizing core infrastructure systems across VMware, Windows Server, and Microsoft technologies while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts.

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere / ESXi) including administration and troubleshooting
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy in a Windows Server environment
• Experience supporting Exchange (on-prem and/or Exchange Online) in a hybrid environment
• Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting to automate administrative tasks
• Experience working with enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS, EMC, Pure, NetApp)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, system performance, and troubleshooting

Onsite expectation: Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite initially, then 2 days/week (Wed/Thurs)

Pay range: $55-$65/hour
