Job description

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Workflow Automation Engineer to lead the automation of our mission-critical IT and business service workflows. You will be the architect behind our service automation strategy, building the frameworks that eliminate manual toil, reduce process latency, and create "lights-out" operational capabilities across our infrastructure and platform teams., Workflow Architecture & Development System Design: Design, develop, and maintain complex, end-to-end workflow automations within our primary enterprise service and orchestration platform. Full-Stack Automation: Execute the full SDLC for automation projects. Create advanced scripts and custom endpoints to bridge the gap between disparate IT systems. Integration Orchestration: Leverage REST APIs and middleware to connect our service platform with secondary infrastructure automation tools (e.g., configuration management and cloud provisioning systems).

Governance & Operational Excellence Scalable Frameworks: Develop solutions that adhere to high-performance and security-first standards. Ensure all automation logic is modular, reusable, and thoroughly documented. Agile Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Service Management) within an Agile framework to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements. Knowledge Management: Create comprehensive runbooks, knowledge base articles, and documentation to ensure internal teams can effectively operate and troubleshoot your deployments.

Requirements

This is a senior-level role that requires a rare blend of deep technical coding ability and an understanding of enterprise IT operational data models. You will lead the full development lifecycle-from defining the requirements for complex business workflows to deploying, supporting, and handing over high-impact automation solutions., Experience Baseline: Minimum of seven (7) years of extensive, end-to-end enterprise software development and automation experience, including ongoing maintenance and production support. Technical Mastery: oJavaScript: Advanced proficiency in server-side scripting, API handling, and asynchronous data processing. oPlatform Expertise: Proven success building complex workflows in enterprise service management and orchestration platforms. oData Modeling: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure data models (CMDB) and the ability to leverage that data to drive automated decision-making. Security & Compliance: Deep commitment to secure coding practices and experience navigating the compliance requirements of highly regulated environments.

Preferred Attributes Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code platforms. A track record of identifying and automating "high-volume" manual tasks that others deemed "too complex" to automate. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical trade-offs to business stakeholders.
