Job description
We are seeking a hands-on, proactive Subscription Management Systems Administrator to join our IT Operations team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of our global billing and subscription management platform. This is a tactical, "in-the-platform" position. You will support a diverse range of subscription models-including recurring, usage-based, and hybrid pricing-ensuring our billing engine remains accurate, performant, and integrated with our broader sales and ERP ecosystem. If you are a persistent problem solver who enjoys bridging the gap between financial business requirements and system configuration, this is the ideal role for you., Platform Configuration & Support System Administration: Manage day-to-day configurations within the subscription platform, including updates to the product catalog, pricing structures, and subscription data. Component Maintenance: Assist in the ongoing support of core billing modules, including CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Order Management, Payments, and Billing. User & Access Governance: Manage user access requests, including roles and permissions, ensuring adherence to internal security and operational procedures. Tier 2 Support: Log, triage, and resolve technical support tickets. Troubleshoot issues related to subscription billing, invoice generation, and payment processing.
Operations & Continuous Improvement Reporting & Data: Execute standard reports, data queries, and workflow updates. Maintain accurate records and trackers to ensure departmental logs remain current. Release Management: Support platform releases by reviewing release notes, executing test cases (UAT), documenting results, and identifying potential issues prior to production deployment. Financial Operations: Assist in processing refunds and credit memos according to company policy. Collect and organize data required for audits and compliance reviews. Documentation: Ensure all technical runbooks, process guides, and configuration documentation are kept up-to-date.
Requirements
Experience Baseline: Hands-on experience administering and configuring the Zuora Billing platform is strictly required. Subscription Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting subscription-based business models (recurring, usage-based, or hybrid pricing). Integration Knowledge: Experience working with integrated enterprise systems, specifically Salesforce (CRM) and ERP platforms. Operational Competency: Practical experience in producing test documentation, defining UAT scenarios, and supporting end-to-end release cycles. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both technical teams and non-technical finance/business stakeholders. Financial Literacy: A solid understanding of core billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition concepts.
