Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integrations Engineer to design, build, and maintain the critical data pipelines connecting our core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms with a diverse ecosystem of external systems. In this role, you will act as a technical architect for cloud-based integrations, specializing in the orchestration of HCM, Payroll, and Financial data. You will leverage modern web service technologies and programming languages to develop custom applications and optimize transactional data flows. The ideal candidate is an Agile-focused engineer with a deep understanding of the integration lifecycle, from initial design to complex troubleshooting and on-call support., Integration Architecture: Design and maintain sophisticated integrations between major cloud platforms (specifically Workday and SAP Ariba) and third-party external systems. Custom App Development: Build and maintain custom "Extend" applications to enhance platform functionality and meet unique business requirements. Data Orchestration: Support and optimize master and transactional data integrations across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Procurement modules. Full-Lifecycle Management: Apply advanced software engineering principles to the integration lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and proactive monitoring. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide high-level support and on-call troubleshooting for integration environments, ensuring data integrity and system availability. Modernization Initiatives: Contribute to strategic platform transitions and digital transformation initiatives involving Business Technology Platforms (BTP). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal IT teams and external third-party vendors to resolve data inquiries and ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of web service and API technologies: REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON, and XSLT. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or Groovy). Platform Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development (Studio, EIB, Cloud Connector, Orchestration). 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba integration (REST APIs, ITK, and Configuration Management). Methodology: Well-versed in Agile development methodologies, specifically Kanban or Scrum.
