Software Developer

Seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) and the Navy's Electronic Warfare Data mission. This role will focus on the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of web-based applications supporting Fleet Tactical and Training Libraries. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who enjoys both team-based development and independent technical challenges., * Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET MVC, and related technologies.

• Develop and optimize Oracle database queries, functions, and stored procedures using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Participate in software development planning, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Create, update, and manage project Kanban boards within Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and delivery timelines.
• Review technical requirements and develop level-of-effort estimates.
• Support ongoing system maintenance, enhancements, and sustainment activities.
• Maintain required certifications, training, and professional development.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• 2+ years of experience working with XML and XML Schema Definition (XSD).
• Experience developing complex SQL queries, functions, and procedures in Oracle environments.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Security+ CE certification (or equivalent DoD 8570-compliant certification).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile/Kanban methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented environments.
