Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking a MuleSoft Developer in Westlake, TX., * Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reusable APIs
- Optimize and enhance existing MuleSoft solutions for performance, security, and maintainability
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
- Ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture and best practices
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and microservices following best practices
- Work with RESTful API design
- Implement ETL processes and manage data transformation between applications
- Perform MuleSoft CloudHub deployments
- Configure and fine-tune MuleSoft runtime environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure proper error handling, logging, and monitoring of MuleSoft APIs
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements
- Be able to work with CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft application deployments
- Maintain API security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5+ years of experience in MuleSoft development and integration solutions
- Strong background in API-led connectivity and SOA architecture
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, and API Manager
- Hands-on experience with MUnit testing framework for MuleSoft applications
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors, including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and Kafka
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization protocols
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and DataWeave
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and business teams
- Ability to debug and optimize MuleSoft flows for high performance
- MuleSoft Certified Developer certification is a plus
- Insurance Industry experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
