Job description

This is a hands-on, on-site contract position supporting the IT Asset Management and Tech Desk teams. The role focuses on high-volume device provisioning and imaging for Windows 11 and macOS laptops in an enterprise IT environment. The technician clears operational backlog by processing ServiceNow tickets, executing standardized build/refresh/reimage/decommission workflows, and shipping equipment to support new hires and break/fix needs., * Provision and image Windows 11 and macOS laptops using SCCM, Intune, and Jamf to fulfill new hire and break/fix requests.

  • Review returned assets to determine reusability through reimaging or refresh versus decommissioning.
  • Execute full device lifecycle activities including build, refresh, reimage, and decommission following established processes.
  • Package and ship laptops and peripherals to support new hire provisioning and replacements.
  • Process ServiceNow tickets for new hire requests and break/fix incidents, prioritizing based on FIFO with escalation for urgent needs.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking, documentation, and queue management with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the service desk and IT teams to ensure timely resolution of device-related requests.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with device provisioning and OS imaging for Windows and macOS endpoints
  • Experience executing device lifecycle activities (build, refresh, reimage, decommission)
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for request and incident tracking

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, and Jamf for deployment, configuration, and enrollment
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11 and macOS administration, software deployment, patching, and basic configuration management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior help desk or dedicated laptop provisioning experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale standardized imaging workflows
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Group Policy fundamentals
  • Experience in asset tracking and documentation within enterprise IT environments

Benefits & conditions

The pay range for this position is $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr DOE.
