Job description
As the Systems Administrator, you are responsible for supporting both end users and core infrastructure systems, including Windows Server services, Microsoft 365 administration, backups, and basic network operations. In this role, you will perform routine infrastructure maintenance, execute server administration tasks, and support technology deployments while following established standards and procedures. You will also serve as an escalation point for IT Support Specialists, contribute to system reliability and security, and help maintain the technology environment that supports Waffle House operations., * Provide advanced end-user support and serve as an escalation point for IT Support Specialists
- Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Execute Windows Server updates, patching cycles, and routine maintenance activities
- Monitor system health, investigate alerts, and assist with resolving infrastructure issues
- Support backup operations, validation checks, and restore testing efforts
- Perform workstation deployments, PC migrations, asset tracking, and technical documentation maintenance
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Working knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, mailboxes, licenses, and Teams
- Basic-to-intermediate networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and routing fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve technical issues independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to customer service
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- 2 years of experience administering Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 administrative functions in a professional environment
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and modern IT systems
- Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, MS-900, or AZ-900 are a plus, * Microsoft Windows Server: 2 years (Preferred)
- Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
