Job description
We are building the operating layer for private markets - family offices, private equity firms, and venture capital funds. Our platform puts AI to work on complex, high-stakes operations. The experience layer matters as much as what is running underneath it.
We are looking for a UX Designer who can take complex workflows and make them feel intuitive. Our users are founders, COOs, GPs, and Managing Partners. They have high expectations, zero patience for friction, and they will notice every rough edge.
This is not a role for someone who designs consumer apps or marketing pages. We need someone who has wrestled with genuinely complex, data-heavy products - and knows how to bring clarity to things that are hard.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end UX design for Elevation AI's platform - from research and discovery through wireframes, flows, prototypes, and engineering handoff
- Conduct user research and let it change your designs, not just confirm them
- Translate complex operational workflows into intuitive experiences for power users
- Work closely with engineers throughout the build cycle - not just at handoff
- Build and maintain a consistent design language across the platform
- UI skills are a strong plus - candidates who can take designs to high-fidelity visual and component-level detail will stand out
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of UX design experience on enterprise, SaaS, or data-heavy products
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end work - research, flows, wireframes, and shipped product
- Proficient in Figma
- You make complex things feel simple - not simple things look pretty
- You care about design that gets built and used, not just design that looks good in Figma
- UI experience is a strong plus - tell us if you have it, * UX design for enterprise or SaaS products: 3 years (Required)
Benefits & conditions
Full-time. Hybrid in San Francisco. Competitive compensation. San Francisco -based candidates strongly preferred.
