Job description
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to refine and enhance data models and ontologies for process specifications
- Develop and standardize taxonomies and structured data models from diverse data sources (PDF, XML)
- Expand ontologies to capture key process parameters, requirements, and engineering data elements
- Collaborate with IT and tools teams to design and implement scalable data architectures
- Define requirements for tools supporting content authoring, data management, and process standardization
- Work within an agile environment to evolve solutions for complex and changing requirements
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to transition from document-based systems to model-based frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability across engineering platforms
- Develop innovative solutions for complex data challenges in aerospace environments, * Work with a leading aerospace organization on transformational digital engineering initiatives

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ontologies, and structured knowledge representation
- Proficiency with XML, RDF, and graph databases
- Understanding of engineering lifecycles, particularly process specifications
- Experience working in agile environments with evolving requirements
- Solid understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, * Experience working with engineering or aerospace data systems
- Familiarity with data governance and enterprise data architecture practices
- Ability to bridge technical and business requirements effectively

Benefits & conditions
Pay Details: $84.56 per hour
