Software Engineer - FuzeRx

• Architect & Build: Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions for internal and external users.
• Write Clean Code: Develop maintainable and efficient code using Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and other modern programming languages.
• Innovate with AI: Contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives, leveraging them within existing platforms for better automation and prediction.
• Ensure Reliability: Maintain high availability, performance, and security of applications backed by relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Debug issues across high-volume, high-throughput, highly performant, and direct user-interacting systems.
• Champion Observability: Build alerting systems and measure the operational impact of the code you deploy.
• Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional product and business teams to drive innovation and deliver customer value.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Backend Expertise: Deep experience building and deploying applications in Ruby on Rails and decoupling them into externalized services with API interfaces.
• Frontend Knowledge: Mastery of modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Systems Architecture: Experience with backend systems, APIs, server-side technologies, multi-tenancy, workflow orchestration and choreography, and long-running saga patterns.
• Database Skills: Hands-on experience working with databases, specifically PostgreSQL (and broader SQL/NoSQL experience).
• AI Interest: A strong interest in AI technologies or prior experience integrating AI solutions.
• Mindset: A proven ability to troubleshoot frontend/backend systems and a passion for building scalable, efficient, high-quality software., * Background in health tech, pharmacy-related industries, supply chain, or commerce technology.
• Familiarity with major cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and modern development workflows.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

_This position requires occasional travel therefore you must be able to sit for extended periods of time on airplanes and/or in vehicles, lift and carry luggage independently, navigate long distances through airports and other travel locations independently, and adjust to different time zones and climates., Employment Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary Range: $128,400 - $156,000, Full-time employee benefits include: dental, vision, and multiple group medical plans to choose from, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, group life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA), commuter benefits, employer-paid short-term (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and additional supplemental insurance plans (spouse life insurance, legal insurance, an employee assistance program, home health testing kits, and a fertility medication discount program).
