Job description
- Integrate and deploy AI/ML models into GCCS and JPES workflows, ensuring mission alignment and operational usability
- Configure and manage data pipelines and interfaces connecting AI services to C2 systems and data sources
- Operationalize AI capabilities within planning, execution, and situational awareness workflows (JOPP / JPES)
- Deploy AI solutions in cloud, hybrid, and edge (DDIL) environments
- Implement and manage MLOps pipelines (model deployment, versioning, monitoring, retraining) within DevSecOps ecosystems (e.g., Platform One)
- Ensure interoperability across GCCS components, DISA services, and external mission systems
- Support Cross Domain Solution (CDS) integration and secure data movement for AI-enabled capabilities
- Validate AI outputs through testing, evaluation, and user feedback loops in operational environments
- Apply RMF, STIGs, and Zero Trust principles to AI system deployment and sustainment
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance of AI-enabled services
- Collaborate with data scientists, systems engineers, and operational users to refine and scale AI solutions
Requirements
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current and active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), We are seeking a highly skilled AI Implementer to operationalize and integrate AI/ML capabilities into Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES) environments. This role focuses on deploying, integrating, and sustaining AI solutions within mission systems bridging the gap between data science models and real-world Joint C2 operations., * 5 10 years of experience in systems integration, AI/ML implementation, or DevSecOps environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- GCCS (GCCS-J / GCCS-M / GCCS-A) integration or sustainment
- JPES / JOPES workflows and systems
- Experience deploying applications in:
- Containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Familiarity with:
- AI/ML frameworks and model deployment practices
- API integration, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Understanding of:
- DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs, Zero Trust)
- Data flows and interoperability in Joint C2 systems
Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DISA programs (e.g., GCCS-J modernization, GSM-O, JADC2 initiatives)
- Familiarity with data fabrics, knowledge graphs, and real-time data streaming (Kafka, etc.)
- Experience implementing AI within Common Operational Picture (COP) environments
- Exposure to geospatial data, ISR feeds, or operational planning systems
- Experience with Platform One / Iron Bank / DoD DevSecOps tools
- Certifications:
- Security+ (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)
- Cloud/DevOps certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)

- Ability to work across engineering, data science, and operational communities

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
