Job description

This is a senior, highly autonomous leadership role responsible for defining and executing enterprise-wide automation strategy across cloud-native, microservices-based systems. The Automation Architect will design automation frameworks from scratch, embed automation fully within the sprint, and act as a trusted technical leader across engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams., * Define, architect, and evolve enterprise automation strategy and frameworks

  • Ensure 100% automation coverage within sprint execution
  • Partner daily with developers, infrastructure teams, and product owners
  • Lead automation for end-to-end AWS-based workflows (events, data, integrations)
  • Design and maintain automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate automation development and promote best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and help transition manual testers into automation roles
  • Serve as a technical authority for quality engineering, tooling, and innovation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Senior leadership?, The ideal candidate has strong AWS expertise, deep automation maturity, and hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to modernize testing practices and uplift engineering quality across the organization., * 5+ years of hands-on automation engineering experience

  • Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Strong expertise with Playwright (TypeScript preferred) or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of AWS and testing distributed/cloud-native systems
  • Strong API automation experience (REST, microservices, event-driven systems such as SQS/Kafka)
  • CI/CD integration experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Java, or Python
  • Proven experience embedding automation fully in-sprint
  • Ability to work independently and own delivery, quality, and deployment
  • Executive presence with excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice-to-Have / Pluses

  • Experience using AI-powered automation tools (Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Assistants, MCP tools)
  • Experience with contract testing, component testing, visual testing, and accessibility scans
  • Testing experience with serverless workflows, queues, triggers, and event chains
  • Background in mentoring or training automation engineers
  • Experience with architecture documentation, dashboards, and reporting
  • Strong passion for innovation, experimentation, and modernization
