Job description

Being a consultant can sometimes feel like a lonely job. At dbi services, it's quite the opposite. Our experts collaborate daily, share knowledge across teams, and support each other while working with our clients.

No two days look the same: your time will be split between service desk tasks, training, internal projects and, above all, customer projects. You'll be involved in BI project management and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft technologies both on-premises and in the Cloud, including hands-on work with Microsoft Fabric.

What to expect

As a Microsoft BI & Fabric consultant, you will support our customers on-site or remotely throughout the full lifecycle of their data analytics platforms and projects.

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing data strategy and governance in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Architecture and administration of Microsoft Fabric environments (capacities, workspaces, security, monitoring).
  • Architecture and administration of Microsoft Power BI environments (tenants, gateways, workspaces, governance, licensing).
  • Designing and developing data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, semantic models, notebooks).
  • Designing and developing data analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI (data models, reports, dashboards, apps).
  • Designing and developing data analytics solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server BI suite (SQL Database Engine, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PBIRS).
  • Reviewing existing data analytics solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server BI suite, and providing recommendations and roadmaps.
  • Implementing data quality checks, ELT processes, data pipelines, migration solutions, and CI/CD processes.
  • Implementing data compliance and protection controls (classification, masking, virtualization, access control, monitoring).
  • Integration into the DevOps world (CI/CD for data & analytics assets, automation of deployments and configuration).
  • Advising customers on best practices for data security, governance and operations, and helping them make the most of their Microsoft data platform investments.
