Job description

Transition the DevOps environment from manual administration to automated orchestration by developing AI Agents that resolve routine support tickets, password resets, and firewall clearances. Implement Intelligent Observability by connecting monitoring and logging frameworks with LLMs to create an infrastructure that can autonomously provide operational assistance via Infrastructure as Code. Enable the launch of our Cloud Business by ensuring all hardware resources are deployable and manageable via API and automated agents. Act as a technical "doer" to bridge gaps across the stack, whether debugging Terraform scripts, writing C# services, or building Vue.js frontends for system control. Mentor junior engineers and apprentices in modern, AI-supported operations while maintaining a "Security First" approach. Engage directly with support workflows when necessary to identify exactly which root-cause issues should be targeted for your next automation script.

Requirements

Experienced in AI deployments, prior experience in applying LLMs to real-world server environments and hardware. Experienced with a modern tech stack including Kubernetes, CI/CD. Ideally experience with Apache Pulsar and Elastic Stack. Linux experience. Builder mentality with the drive to find inefficiencies and script them away rather than wait for instructions. Occasionally onsite in Leipzig (approx. once a month). German B2+ (ideally fluent) and fluent English. Preferred to have experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally using SaltStack, Ansible, and Terraform.
