Working Student Backend Developer - Python & AI Systems

• Architect, scale, and maintain stable Python and Django REST APIs for our cutting-edge internal platforms and AI integrations
• Design and implement highly efficient data models to process, structure, and serve JSON data seamlessly
• Take full ownership of complex database tasks and lead upcoming migrations across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB environments
• Collaborate directly with our frontend engineering squad to ensure seamless end-to-end user experiences and optimal system stability
• Provide constructive code reviews to maintain exceptional backend engineering standards, high performance, and scalability
• Optimize backend services for speed, security, and smooth data workflows to handle intelligent automated system tasks
• Document technical workflows and system architectures to ensure long-term codebase maintainability and clean engineering

• Enrolled university student or recent graduate focusing on Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or an equivalent technical discipline
• Between 6 and 18 months of practical experience in the Python ecosystem, specifically showcasing a solid understanding of Django or comparable backend frameworks
• Strong command of relational and non-relational database architectures such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB
• Confident usage of Git version control and a strong interest in deploying and working with modern Dockerized container environments
• A methodical, independent approach to algorithmic challenges paired with a genuine enthusiasm for building secure, data-driven systems
• Strong communicative skills in English, whereas knowledge of German is a welcome asset but absolutely optional
