Data Scientist You develop predictive models that directly add value to clients in both public and private sectors. You are the bridge between data and business: you analyze, advise and translate insights into decisions. Your passion for data creates impactful solutions. What will you do? Your work week is a dynamic mix of analysis, modeling and strategy. You start by understanding business challenges and translate them into a clear roadmap and proof-of-concepts. Then you'll be hands-on exploring, training, validating and deploying machine learning models to a production environment. A critical part of your role is providing explainability reports (XAI) to stakeholders and regulators so that the performance of your models is transparent. You set up performance monitoring, monitor concept drift and automate retraining processes. In addition, you guide clients, actively share your knowledge on the latest techniques in Computer Vision and NLP, and help build the professionalization of our MLOps and governance guidelines. What do you bring?
-
- A completed HBO/WO Master's degree in AI, Data Science, Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics or similar quantitative field. - At least three years of demonstrable experience as a Data Scientist, with models successfully put into production. - Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn and MLflow. - In-depth knowledge of statistics and experiment design (A/B testing, MAB). - Experience with SQL, NoSQL and data pipelines (e.g. Spark, Delta Lake). - Proven project experience in Computer Vision (CNN, ViT) either NLP (LLM fine-tuning, Transformers) and knowledge of explainability training such as SHAP or LIME. - You are familiar with MLOps, CI/CD, model governance and the ethical aspects of AI, such as bias mitigation and privacy-by-design.
