As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping a new e-commerce platform for the Postcode Lottery. You'll take technical ownership of complex backend and frontend services, contribute to architectural decisions, and help build a scalable, experience-driven commerce platform that supports multiple countries and propositions. What you'll do:
- You will be responsible for building and implementing an e-commerce platform, working across both frontend and backend to deliver scalable, experience-driven solutions. Experience with enterprise e-commerce platforms such as Shopware and Commercetools is a plus.
- You are part of a cross-functional team that collaborates closely with other engineering teams and departments to deliver seamless end-to-end customer journeys.
- You will provide technical leadership in the implementation of the e-commerce platform and guide the team throughout the process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, working with Typescript and Next.js in a professional environment; certification is a plus.
- Experience working in e-commerce or digital commerce environments, with a strong understanding of scalable online platforms and customer journeys, and the ability to contribute to the transformation of a transactional e-commerce landscape into a scalable, experience-driven platform.
- Experience with the following will also be an advantage: Next.js, design systems, NPM, Tailwind, SASS, Jest, Storybook, functional programming, front end build tooling, front end frameworks, AWS, cloud infrastructure, monitoring.
- Good knowledge of solutions such as Spring, GITlab and Postgres/AWS RDS.
