Web Designer

The client is seeking for Web Systems Team is seeking a Front-End Web Designer/Developer to support UX design, front-end development, and enterprise web solutions for NCDOT and NCDMV. The role focuses on creating accessible, user-friendly, and consistent web experiences across platforms including SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAP, Drupal, and other enterprise applications

.Key Responsibilitie

s* Design, update, and maintain web UI components and interactive prototypes

.* Develop accessible, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

.* Build and support front-end solutions for enterprise web applications and content management systems

.* Ensure UI consistency across NCDIT Transportation platforms

.* Conduct training sessions and webinars for business users on developed applications and tools

.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and accessibility

s* 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript development

.* 5+ years of semantic HTML and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS variables, theming)

.* 4+ years of state management using reactive stores/signals

.* 4+ years of website accessibility testing and integration with enterprise systems (SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc.)

.* 3+ years of Vue.js development

.* 3+ years of UX design, web performance optimization, and WCAG 2.2+ accessibility compliance

.* 1+ year of AI-assisted development and workflow automation experience

.Preferred Qualification

s* 3+ years of experience with Vite build tooling

.* 3+ years designing and maintaining design systems and component libraries
