Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client's project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
2. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
3. Identify, document, track, and retest software defects and issues.
4. Review business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage.
5. Validate data accuracy and system functionality using SQL queries and testing tools.
6. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
7. Maintain testing documentation, results, and defect reports.
8. Support test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

3+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation. Experience creating and executing test cases, tracking defects, supporting user acceptance testing, validating business requirements, and working with enterprise applications in structured testing environments.

Experience with Software Testing, Test Case Development, Test Script Execution, Defect Tracking, JIRA, SQL, SoapUI, Postman, Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API Testing, Test Documentation, Quality Assurance, Data Validation, Requirements Analysis

Business / Domain Skills

Experience with Business Process Validation, Requirements Review, Stakeholder Collaboration, Defect Management, Quality Control, Test Planning, Risk Identification, Process Improvement, Documentation, User Support, SDLC, Issue Resolution, Reporting

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience testing enterprise or eligibility-based systems.
3. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
4. Knowledge of API testing and database validation techniques.
