In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our web services operate at peak efficiency, providing seamless and uninterrupted experiences for our users. You will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and deployment of tooling with a goal of maximizing availability and minimizing time to detect and time to resolution of issues.

This role requires a strong understanding of web service architectures, technologies, and best practices, along with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure our web services meet the highest standards of performance, availability, and security. Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed. Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use. Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
