Job description
Join Amaris as a Site Reliability Engineer in Fribourg! Be part of a dynamic team innovating IT infrastructures., As an SRE Systems Engineer, you will join our teams in Fribourg to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of IT infrastructures within complex public sector environments. You will be responsible for identifying, planning, and managing strategic projects aimed at enhancing the performance, security, and resilience of information systems.
Your responsibilities
- Administer the Kubernetes platform in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mode
- Maintain, develop, and document various code repositories
- Design and optimise build pipelines (CI) for projects
- Design and optimise release pipelines (CD) for projects
- Develop and maintain infrastructure pipelines (IaC)
- Write and maintain Kubernetes manifests for projects
- Provide support and operation of solutions in production
- Share knowledge and support the skill development of the SRE team
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in systems engineering or SRE required.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, and containerization.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design and automation tools., * Advanced experience of over 10 years in systems engineering or SRE
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, its associated plugins, and creating manifests/Helm Charts
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration, as well as containerisation concepts (Docker)
- Proficiency in designing YAML pipelines for CI/CD/IaC (Node, Python, Bash, Docker, Azure)
- Proficiency in automation and infrastructure tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, Powershell, Bash, Python)
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps platforms, Cloud Native components (CNCF), Kubernetes operator design, and network/storage infrastructures
- Good command of observability, security, code quality (Sonar), and project management tools (Jira/Confluence)
- Proficiency in agile methodologies (scrum, kanban)
- Native French speaker, fluent in English
