Job description
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work on a medical image annotation application built in collaboration with Mount Sinai Health System in New York, one of the largest and most respected academic medical centers in the United States. Your code will support clinical researchers working with real patient data at scale., * Contribute to software design and architecture decisions, and take part in code reviews across the full stack.

Work closely with designers, QA, and product management as part of an integrated team to deliver well-crafted, user-centered software.

Engage directly with customers and users - joining feedback sessions and user research to build a deep, end-to-end understanding of the product and the problems it solves.

Design with security at the core - shaping authorization concepts and data protection architecture from the ground up, including the documentation that supports review and sign-off by our clinical partners.
Requirements
- A university degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer or full-stack developer, or equivalent experience.
- Strong frontend skills: deep fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React or equivalent.
- Solid backend experience: proficiency in Go (Golang), Kubernetes, and Docker, or equivalent.
- Experience with relational databases; we use PostgreSQL.
- Professional written and spoken English, German language skills a plus.
